Lincoln Cathedral - for almost 300 years the tallest building in the world. Everywhere you look there is the most intricate detail, walls, roofs elaborated by the finest carving. When King John agreed to the barons' demands, copies of Magna Carta were made and distributed to sheriffs and cathedrals throughout England. Lincoln Cathedral's Magna Carta is one of only four from the original distribution still in existence. It is the only one to bear the name of its city.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - is well known for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned and injured seal pups that are stranded on Lincolnshire beaches. See the seals and lots of other wonderful animals including penguins, meerkats, alpacas, tropical birds/butterflies, pets corner, aquarium, tropical house, koi carp pool, animal brass rubbing, gift shop and refreshments available.
Lincoln Castle - come and see one of only four remaining original Magna Carta along side the Charter of the Forest. Immerse yourself in the lives of prisoners and their daily routines in the Victorian Prison and see the unique separate system chapel. 1000 years of history
Carlton Centre - a good place to visit for a couple of hours there's a Halfords ,Dunlem,Costa ,peacocks, cooplands cheap food, co.op boots poundstetcher, Argosplus within walking distance go outdoors Aldi and few others locally
International Bomber Command Centre - the multi-award winning IBCC dedicated to the of 57,871 men and women who gave their lives whilst in the service of Bomber Command during WW2. Recognising the involvement of 62 nations in Bomber Command. Also hosts three exhibition galleries covering our core themes of Recognition, Remembrance and Reconciliation.
Hardys Animal Farm - is a great day out for all the family. With both indoor and outdoor activates you will be surh of a fun filled day.
The Bubblecar Museum - a collection of over 50 1950/60s microcars and scooters. Plus loads of memorabilia that take you down memory lane. Tearooms and gift shop with lots of toys on site.
Tiny Tots Village Indoor Playzone - is the largest indoor playarea in the area suitable for children ages 0-10 years. With plenty of seating with tables in the playarea, and also a separate cafe area that is open to the public with freshly ground coffee.
