We upgraded to a prestige for the heating and glad we did. Very clean and had everything we needed. The site is bigger than expected and we asked to be near the entertainment which we were. Staff very friendly and the entertainment was some of the best we have seen for children. We've stayed in CBeebies hotel etc and this was better
Well done entertainment team you have got it bang on. Kids have really enjoyed it. Pool is excellent and we did the pool activities you can book. Kids loved it and well worth it. Not sure about some of the other activities, you need to invest in a large teepee for some of the outdoor activities. The site is really well maintained and very clean. We will return. Thanks!
We stayed here the first week in September with my mum and 3 children. Check in was as expected and I was more than pleasantly surprised that my request to be put in a quiet area of the site (Beeches Brook) had been noted. We were allocated a lovely 3 bed caravan with linen and beds made up. There was a small shop local to our bottom end which was basic stocked but adequate for an ice lolly. The main supermarket by the roundabout as you enter the park was much better stocked. The site itself is huge. There is a large entertainment area but as we don't spend time in them at all, I can't comment. We loved the land train that runs every hour around the park but we were disappointed to learn after waiting over half an hour on the second day, that is was not working. Thankfully by the Thursday it was running again and we enjoyed several rides on it that passed some time. The beach is situated very close to where we were staying, just through Fittie's chalet park but as much as my boy's love that beach, so do dog walkers with very few picking up their dog mess. Not very good where their are families. All in all a lovely break and we will be back another year.
Thorpe Park was easy to find, no problem motorway to destination. Caravan was clean and had all the mod cons. Basic, no clutter, comfortable and within easy reach of beach and shops. Central area for visiting other seaside towns and also Lincoln. Lincoln Cathedral was excellent a must to visit. However, lots to do round and about. Thumbs up for Thorpe Park,
